Research of the needs and best practices

The DevMigra project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, is a collaborative effort dedicated to supporting young migrants in Europe. We understand the challenges young migrants face in having their skills and qualifications recognized in their new homes.

Through this project, our partner organizations will be conducting research at the national level to identify the specific needs of young migrants regarding skills and qualification recognition. This research will involve:

  • Needs Assessment: We will be actively investigating the current landscape for young migrants, aiming to understand the specific hurdles they encounter in getting their skills and qualifications recognized in their host countries.

  • Educational Training Evaluation: We will assess the effectiveness of current educational training programs that utilize Non-Formal Education (NFE) methodologies in the context of migrant integration activities. This will involve creating a comprehensive grid of best practices and identifying the most successful approaches that can benefit young migrant populations.

  •

By working together, we aim to develop a more streamlined and effective system for recognizing the skills and qualifications of young migrants. This will empower them to integrate more fully into their new communities and reach their full potential.
